![]() Reminds me a little of bloodborne in that there is a personal narrative going on, but the world has its own story that grows the more you learn about it. It's a unique take on this technology driven world and it becomes more and more developed as you go. ![]() Im not one for games like this usually, but there is so much storytelling going on in the background. Oh, also the new game plus is really fun too Melancholic humming is all Red is capable of after losing her voice, and it really fits the atmosphere of the destroyed city you traverse. Its amazing, and in cannon Red wrote all of the songs. ![]() I actually bought this game because I listen to the soundtrack on Spotify so much I felt like I had to. Discovering what combos are powerful is an interesting processįinally, the music. After this burst of attacks, your pause is on cool down so you have to devote some of your actions to defensive measuresĪlso, the game has (10?) abilities, all of which can be used to upgrade another ability or be used in a passive slot. Enemies are super fast and deal loads of damage, but you can hit space to pause the game and plan out a series of attacks which will then be performed nearly instantly. The combat of this game is a super unique blend of real time and turn based fighting. You play as Red, a gorgeous music star who lost her voice, and tote a talking sword who, well, spoilers. The aesthetic of the game as a really neat mixture of roaring twenties America and cyberpunk. If you haven't heard of it, Transistor is an isometric story driven action game by super giant games.
