![]() The problem may fix itself (or just not occur again by chance) after someone removes all of their plants, causing a correlation giving the false appearance of causation, leading to people thinking they can't have plants on their Cyclops. It's possible that the state of your game was more bugged than others and the growth of plants somehow made it more visible, or it's possible that your bug is different from the one I posted about that indeed involved plants.Īgain, the caution is about making a definitive statement. I did not remove the offending fabricator, nor did I cease building of new lockers, and ended up with a whole garden of plants all over the Cyclops. ![]() I got ejected twice, posted, and it never happened again. It isn't a matter of it not helping me, my problem stopped on its own with no intervention. My concern is with definitive statements. so my solution is correct for those whos issiue is based on plants. and it doubled how often it happened when I added a 2nd grow plot. removing plants from my cyclops solved the issiue, as I watched the jolt happen as they grew. While it's good for us to put together a book of instances of when the problem occured in order to try to find a common thread, I find it unlikely that plants are playing a specific role in the bug. The problem also never occured after I did have plants. While you're not sure if whatever just happened onboard the cyclops was physics or some act of God, you at least know you'll survive the fall.I had no plants on my cyclops when I created this post. This first occurred to you when you jumped off the overhang of the Aurora's wreckage, before you thought it through, and didn't smash to pieces on the surface tension. Theoretical physics was a popular topic, especially the fact that physics as we know may be entirely different on other planets, or something to that effect (you're just a janitor, they never taught you that in training). Soaring through the air, you begin to remember some of the things your higher-ups used to talk about aboard the Aurora. ![]() Before you have time to think, you're flying through the air, watching the familiar landmarks of the "crater" (as your PDA calls it) vanish in the distance. ![]() The Prawn's grapple arm has been making some unsettling creaking noises, so perhaps a new gearbox is an order.Īs you walk off the bridge of the cyclops, you bump your shoulder on the bulkhead door, and something changes. Now that you're back up top, it's time to tune up your machines and stock up on food.įirst and foremost, you'll put your newly obtained resources to use and make some depth upgrades. Thankfully, the trip wasn't all risk and no reward, as you managed to drill some of the elusive kyanite. Your latest dive took you to a massive molten crack through a brine-filled graveyard with all the deadly creatures a psychotic masochist could ever want. (Spoilers for late game) Of all the beautiful and terrifying things you've seen in your time here, the extremes of both can be found deep. You tear your eyes away from the view and pull up your PDA to check the list of materials you need for the next leg of your journey. As hard as you're trying to get off this stupid wet rock, that never gets old. As you watch the sun set on your 104th day on this planet, you turn your cyclops' engine off. ![]()
